Inaugural ARC West and Central Africa Collaborative for Nurses and Midwives

ARC has been working in the east, central and southern Africa region since 2011, assisting the nursing and midwifery leadership in seventeen ECSA countries to improve regulation, standards, policy and practice in their countries. ARC is a partnership of the CDC Centre in Atlanta USA, Emory University also in Atlanta, and the Commonwealth Nurses and Midwives Federation. Countries are given small grants to work on regulatory projects in the area of HIV.
